I got an email from a client about an Android writing opportunity for $350 per article; I was surprised that I would be paid such an amount for writing alone; I thought it was a joke. Finally, I finished the article and received $350 in my account (laugh) at that moment,
I knew I needed to invest my time in technical writing. So, to cut a long story short, I searched for opportunities online and found the Writethedoc community.
I joined their job-post-only channel for job updates and started applying for jobs. Still, I always got rejected, so I changed my application style.
My style:
Once a job is posted, I salute the person and paste my cover letter. My cover letter contains my best writing samples and doc sites.
