Unplugging from the health matrix.
Thread ๐Ÿงต
What's up boys and girls?
I hope you're doing good.
We're currently doing a small retreat in a place near some hot springs (which might be a cult (not of the good kind) to be honest), which gives me the opportunity to talk about something that i want for a while, the health
matrix.
Now if you are like me, you cringe every time you hear the term "matrix" and to be honest, i would use another term if i could find one.
But how exactly should we call -in a polite way- the phenomenon of people being brainwashed into believing that a certain substance
will bypass decades of bad lifestyle choices and fix almost overnight their health issues?
How should we call the fact that people spend millions of dollars in order to be told to eat broccoli and wear sunscreen indoors? (Brian Johnson)
Examples like this are endless.
You have people complaining about the price of beef liver while either spending $300 on organ meat supplements or unnecessary supplements in general and people who can't squat 2 plates (wtf) worry about testosterone boosters.
This is the current state of the health industry and
it will continue to be since most people are looking for an easy way out in order to solve their problems.
Most people spend 100X more time and effort trying to find an easy way out than they would by accepting the actual time things get.
People are being conditioned by
business owners to prioritize the wrong things nowadays and you should never forget this.
These people (big food, big pharma etc) spend billions of fcking dollars, as a means of creating propaganda around health topics.
The end goal of course is changing people's beliefs around
certain subjects so they will start purchasing their services and products.
Now of course you can't do anything about this.
You will keep having millions of people defending inferior fats such as canola oil which literally are waste products that got turned into billion dollar
industries, because a shady study told them that they are "heart healthy" for example.
You will still have people who believe that destroying the soil to create GMO soy is both better for the environment but also a better protein source than pasture raised eggs.
You will still have people believing that turkesterone will undo the lack of squatting, company of HOT FEMALES and competition in their lives.
You will still have people who believe that sleeping with Bluetooth devices is a great way of taking care of your health somehow.
It is what it is.
All you can do is recognize the game, not take part in it and remember that the following:
1.Sleep (free)
2.Sunlight (free)
3.Grounding (free)
4.Exercise (free)
5.Saying no to poisons (free)
6.Proper nutrition
7.Lowering stress (free a lot of the times)
are way more effective for improving and protecting your health than any bs device or supplement that will be sold to you, and these are the things which will actually give you 70-80% of the results in your health journey and if they are not, it means that your current approach
(your dietary approach for example) is wrong and you need to re-adjust it.
When you really nail down each one of these, you truly experience how good humans are supposed to feel by default and how effectively you can operate when you have peak levels of health.
NOTHING will ever be able to compete with these and you should never be tricked into believing otherwise.
I am not saying that all supplements and similar things are bad.
All i'm saying is that there's a fine line nowadays between an effective tool under certain circumstances
and some bs that was created solely as a way to maximize profits.
That's pretty much it, so focus on your overall lifestyle more and we'll talk soon.
