10 books to read in your 20s!
A thread...
1. Tuesdays with Morrie
I read it at 19 and I don't think there could have been a better book to read at that age. Tells you so much about the truth of life, that no one tells you.

2. The Fountainhead
I read it at 21 and it changed my life, in meaningful ways. Growing up in a collective culture, the book introduced me to the concept of individualism. I think I learnt to live by myself, after this book.

3. A brief history of time
As a Physics student, this book marked the beginning of my lifelong crush on Stephan Hawking, culminating with his Delhi visit in 2001, as I heard him at the Siri Fort Audi with tears in my eyes.
What a thrilling read :)

4. How to make friends and influence people
For the shy introverted kid that I was, this book served as a wonderful reminder that I too can make friends and leave a positive impression on people.
It gave me confidence when I needed it the most.

5. The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success
I remember gifting this to my mom on one of her birthdays. I thought it was for old people.
She never read it, so I picked it up.
It hit me hard.
It taught be fundamental lessons that have stayed with me till date.

6. Rich Dad Poor Dad
I still have the 22 year old copy of this book, in my library. For someone who had a very difficult complicated relationship with money, this book helped me clear a lot in my head.
Must read for everyone in their 20s

7. Chariots of The Gods
This book amplified my belief in Aliens. I still believe that we were (and perhaps still are) visited by Aliens that gave us a lot of technology that allowed us in advancing our civilization.
Breathtaking book :)

8. ReWork
As a young entrepreneur aged 29, this book was my perfect introduction to the concept of work and the world of startups. I would say my current startup is replicating the work of the authors, to quite a close extent.
Must read for everyone.

9. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
My father used to love riding a bike when young. Through this book, about a motorcycle trip between a father and son, I imagined going on a similar trip with my dad.
Never happened, but the book gave me a lot!

10. The Kite Runner
I don't think a better story has been written ever. I remember crying, howling, while reading the book. In so many ways, I found Amir in me.
Seeking redemption.
