π―In my case, several of my queries went from national search terms to hyper geo-specific terms.
So what changed??
Google's personalization basically added "in Y":
β¨ "Best X" became "Best X in Y"
β¨ "How to X" became "How to X in Y"

This effectively becomes a cannibalization issue because now I have two pages that rank for "Best X"
1) The national page that ranked for "Best X" that now shows for personalization
2) The geo-specific page I was originally ranking for "Best X in Y"
