Well, to get a supervisor is also hard work in case you don't know, especially if they don't have grants; but it's a better route.
So, if you have any admission without funding, these are your options:

📍Look for a supervisor that will accept you (He/She may have gotten someone already).
📍Try and resume, then hustle for scholarship. I know many people who got funding after resuming school in USA🇺🇸.

📍Forget the admission, go through the email route (read my pinned tweet 5-8), get the consent of a new supervisor before you apply.
I know some supervisors will tell you they don't have the power to choose anyone until you apply.
Still, contact them with your application number after you must have successfully applied.
