Three things I fucked up when I was starting my own business.

1. I thought I needed more info.
I spent over a month doing google searches trying to figure out how to set up the legal side of my business and when it was all said and done, not one thing I researched meant shit because I didn't know if anyone wanted to buy my product.

What I should have done:
Basic Market Research
It takes less than 30 minutes to google a product, click on the reviews, and see what people like, dislike, want, and don't want.
This will tell you everything you need to know before you get started.

2. I thought it needed to be perfect
Before I even sold a single product I spent weeks trying to make everything about them perfect because I thought I was competing with bigger brands and at the end of it, I changed almost nothing before I launched.

What I should have done:
Get my product out to the market and listen to feedback to see what changes needed to be made as fast as possible. I should have sent free samples and asked for reviews, testimonials, and other feedback to see what the CUSTOMER wanted.

3. I didn't have a position
I thought that what I was selling needed to be the best, the fastest, and the most affordable option if I wanted people to buy it.
I thought that what I was selling needed to be the best, the fastest, and the most affordable option if I wanted people to buy it.
What I should have done:
Settled on ONE position.
This is the BEST (Quality)
This is the FASTEST (Speed)
This is the most COST EFFICIENT (Price)
Choosing ONE way to position your product will determine the kind of marketing you need as well as the kind of customer to target

Now,
Here's why I'm glad I made those mistakes.
I'm glad I made them because now I can help others avoid them by showing them a better way.
One last thing,
