Interesting development: Partnered with #Foxconn in 2W EV
- Foxconn is a large key component supplier to many OEMs globally
- Focus is mass production
- Achieve economies of scale = cheaper production cost per unit
- Fully integrated solutions

2021 news - Foxconn aims to build EV factories in Europe and India by 2024. Not sure if there has been any developments on ground but it gives an indication towards their ambition

Longtime iPhone assembler Foxconn has been stepping up efforts to expand its presence in the booming EV industry since its new chairman assumed position in mid 2019.
Their chairman was in India last year discussing opportunity in India.

5/ Its has already set up EV plants and formed JVs with governments and companies and is launching several EV products designed and developed by them for their customers.

- The fact that SJS onboarded Foxconn itself is quite interesting. How many are able to do so?
- To supply Touch screen glass
- We don't know the size of these orders
- However, with the scale and ambition of Foxconn this could get interesting as the partnership grows.
9/ Mgt. has not quantified the volumes or order size. But will see the order execution within the next year. Per mgt., this is due to localisation of components.
- Will we see more such Foxconn partnerships with other co's if they are setting up an EV plant in India ?

There isn't much info. available but hopefully mgt. throws more light on this partnership and the opportunity size in future concalls especially if there is export opportunity to their other plants as well.
