However, all in this world get totally immersed in Maya, material gains & relationships, not knowing or realizing that they have Paramatma in them, guiding them through Buddhi (intellect) & they still don't think of how they could break free from the cycle of birth & death.
They don't pray to God out of pure love, they do it to ask/beg him for favours. Once someone dies, all his relatives leave him after 11 days & start talking about how to share all he has worked hard to earn. They don't think of him anymore, are in the same Maya that he was.
Then, this atma cries, lamenting on how wasted & pointless his life has been as he hadn't thought of & earned real wealth i.e. God's blessing & progress toward moksha. He stays in rudra bhoomi alone, scared, devastated & clueless.
