If it doesn't have a clear goal, budget & deadline, it's not a project - it's just work.
Anything is possible if you break it down into small enough steps.
Continuously planning will teach you more than any plan ever will.
If you can't give a project manager a full-time, dedicated team and a clear mandate, don't bother.
Create one single source of truth for all documents, coordination, and communication.
Agreements are flexible, deadlines are not.
A bad executive is a distraction, a good executive shields a team from distraction.
The only acceptable answer to "who owns this" is one single name.
The daily check-in is the 10 most important minutes of the day.
If you want to build a real team, treat external and internal resources the same.

It's not your job to have all the answers, but to facilitate your team to find the best answers.
Finish, document, reflect and learn before starting a new project.
You don't need any rules if a team culture is strong enough.
Accept that people will leave - don't allow for single points of failure.
Keep your team close, and your stakeholders closer.
No amount of planning can fix a people issue.
