Ok y'all, taking a break from editing papers to start that thread on "Taiwan when good, China when bad" trend I mentioned a few days back. Ofc, this came out of the yin yang fish discourse, so I guess I'll start there, loathe as I am to give it any more attention.

Thanks to a certain anti-China account, a video of the dish has resurfaced in the year 2023 to throw more fuel on the Sinophobic fire of Western sentiment. Thanks for acknowledging Taiwan is part of China tho!

Another common critique I have seen is China’s relations with Israel. I think critiquing how a country contributes to an illegitimate apartheid state is very worthwhile!
