The Lord Jesus Christ helps us to overcome with self-sufficiency and not lose heart in any difficult environment. He is our comfort and strength and help. Therefore, we can do all things through Jesus Christ, our Savior, the Son of God. Jehovah God is the Almighty God. When God
promised to give Abraham and Sarah a son, โIs anything too hard for the Lord?โ (Genesis 18:14, โIs anything too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son."). God told Moses that the Israelites, who
complained about wanting to eat meat, would have them eat meat for a month. When he asked Moses how that was possible, God said, โHas the hand of the Lord shortened?โ (Numbers 11:23, "And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my
word shall come to pass unto thee or not."). Almighty God is still alive. 2 Chronicles 16:9 ("For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly:
therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.") said, โThe eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show his strength on behalf of those whose heart is devoted to him.โ Isaiah 2:22 (โCease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for where is he to
be accounted of ?โ) says, โThou shalt not trust in life. Ezekiel 7:19 says, โThey shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy
their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.โ We must not rely on people or money, but only on God. "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:30-31). The Lord is our strength.
