The nefarious underworld of CIA aligned NGOs in Somalia 🧡
Firstly investigative journalist Robert Parry breaks down how the US intelligence uses the front of the National Endowment for Democracy to fund β€˜activists’ and β€˜policymakers’
The NED was founded in 1983, when the spotlight on the CIA was so intense that new methods β€” without a clear connection to the US state β€” had to be found to promote US interests in foreign countries.
Presenting itself as an independent and private NGO
So who does CIA aka the NED fund in Somalia:
1) Sahan research | Rashid Abdi | Matt Bryden
Led by former Canadian military personnel and wanted fugitive in Somalia Matt Bryden - Sahans website talks in obscurity when describing its actual mission and purpose
Using a wayback machine we see Sahan being recipient of the NEDs funding of $22,000 ! - all this for destabilisation, misinformation and imperialist propaganda
But it doesn’t end there - upon further research, it seems like Sahan ends up receiving up to 1.9 million dollars from British neo-liberal lobbying group Adam Smith
Note it’s the same Adam Smith International which was behind sifting money into Bellingcat which along with with U.S. and UK intelligence contractors aided extremists in Syria
The managing director of Sahan Bryden was drowning in unprecedented levels of: corruption, extortion, bribery (of Somali politicians) as well as promoting seccessionism and compromising national security
Leading to a warrant being issued for his arrests in late 2021
Also wanted are: Rashid Abdi, New Zealander Robison Colin, Canadian Rahman Rage Khaire, Belgian Emmanuel Deisser, and British David Hopkins
Every agent of destabilisation and imperialism requires a native informant
Here is Rashid Abdi doing exactly that: pusing a american global unipolar agenda
{TBC}
