Disappear for 6 months, commit to these 13 habits and you’ll be ahead of 98% of people in your 20’s:
I’m 28 this year, and I honestly wish I started sooner.
Do I have all the answers?
Nope.
But these 14 habits allowed me to:
• Build a business
• Help my family out
• Maintain a healthy, beautiful relationship
Here they are ⬇️
Exercise
The gym builds physical and mental strength.
• Set a goal to exercise 3-5 days per week
• Try different types what you like
• Just stick to it
You don't have to be a buff YouTube influencer.
Just invest in your health.
Meditate
Most people stuggle to relax and clear their minds, I did.
We live in the next minute, the next day, the next task.
Try living in the moment instead.
And that's exactly what meditation can do for you.
Learn skills
You need purpose.
Set your sights on pursuing:
• A type of lifestyle
• A business model
• An interest
All these pursuits require you to pick up new skills.
Don't settle for drowning yourself in TikTok and Netflix.
Take risks
Be willing to put something on the line to get something greater.
• Network and build relationships
• Invest in yourself and your future
• Take on challenges
• Try new things
You have unlimited shots in the game. Don't let your time to use them run out.
Network with others
I'm an introvert.
Always have been.
But I've quickly realized that you can only go so far by yourself.
• Find likeminded individuals
• Connect with mentors
• Use social media right
Great things happen when multiple minds work together to push 1 goal.
Limit your screen time
This one is odd coming from a Twitter marketer.
But the truth is, too much time in front of screens are bad.
• Damages self control
• Miss out on life
• Waste of time
Be efficient with your work and make it a priority to spend time offline.
Avoid multitasking
Switching between tasks drains your focus and motivation.
• Focus on one task at a time
• Prioritize tasks
• Take breaks
Have a list of ordered tasks next to you to keep you focused and motivated.
Set boundaries
• Learn to say "no"
• Set limits on your time
Make time for yourself and your priorities.
You'll notice better quality of life, and work output.
Delegate tasks
You can only take on so much until you:
• Burn out
• Feel like quitting
• Sacrifice work quality
Build out systems for your work & life.
Give new team members time to settle in.
Your goal should be to free up your time to spend time on higher level things.
Learn to Take Feedback
Make criticism a part of your life.
You set a cap on how far you can improve when you exclude the opinion of others.
Ask for honest feedback from your peers, mentors, or even strangers.
They could give you the feedback you need to go to the next level.
Build relationships
Surround yourself with people who can help you reach your goals and challenge you to become the best version of yourself.
Develop relationships with:
• Mentors
• Peers
• Partners
You'll find more opportunities and stay focused on your goals.
Stay Updated
Knowing the latest trends in your industry can help you stay ahead of the competition.
Plus, it will give you the confidence to take on any challenge.
Stay informed, so you can make the best decisions and maximize your performance in whatever you need to do.
Be positive
It's easy to get overwhelmed by negative thoughts and feelings.
But positivity will help you to stay focused and motivated.
Start each day with gratitude and remind yourself of your goals and ambitions.
Keep your eye on the prize, so to speak.
