Lets start off first with the EMA's I use
The blue line is 200 EMA
The red line is 48 EMA
The green line is 13 EMA
The orange line is 8 EMA
The blue line is 200 EMA

The orange line is 8 EMA
200 shows long term trend
Above = Bullish
Below = Bearish
13 and 48 Are my pullback/short levels. Pullbacks if above 200 and shorts if below. 48 is my last line of defense
8 is my trend indicator
Above = Bullish

$SPY opened up below the 200 EMA which = Bearish
Today Failed to break Previous day low (PDL) and was also failed to Break above Premarket high.
We also were
- Below 200 EMA = Bearish
- 13 crossed 48
- Nice trend shown from the divergence of EMA's
Once we broke below premarket low should have been looking for an area to take puts. Shooting star off of 48 EMA was the sign to go short.
Today Failed to break Previous day low (PDL) and was also failed to Break above Premarket high.
We also were
- Below 200 EMA = Bearish
- 13 crossed 48
- Nice trend shown from the divergence of EMA's
Once we broke below premarket low should have been looking for an area to take puts. Shooting star off of 48 EMA was the sign to go short.
The shooting star was the spot to take short as this is a major candlestick reversal pattern

Great! Now what time frame do I use?
I use the 2 minute to take my entries /5 minute works as well
And use the 5/15 minute to watch the 8 EMA once we are in the trade and trending
