so i used to play a game at parties called "controversial opinion." pretty self-explanatory, everyone takes turns stating their most controversial opinion. there was a period of my life that i was super into this but now it's boring as shit

i just know what all the "controversial" opinions are at this point. i think controversial opinion is only an interesting game to play when you're in your 20s and lowkey suspect society is lying to you about something really important and you need to know what it is

which is really happening, there's a ton of egregious lies out there, but at this point i am pretty satisfied that i basically understand what all the major lies are (is this what it means to be an adult?) and what purposes they serve. the bottleneck is somewhere else now
