This rapper grew his Instagram audience from 1.8M to 9.7 Mn in just 135 days
Today, with a net worth of $3 Mn, he's someone all brands have their eyes on.
I had a chance to meet him and talk to him about his recent wins.
9 things that stood out from his journey; a thread 🧵
1. Your surroundings have a direct impact on your life.
If you grow up in an environment with people doing the right things, you automatically pick up the habits.
However, if you grow up in a toxic environment, it won’t be late before you begin choosing the wrong path
2. Not having a Plan B about your goals is the biggest motivation
When you do not have any alternative plan in case your primary dreams don’t work out, you are motivated to give it your 101% effort. And that is how you succeed in it.
3. You need to leave one place to get to a better one
Once you become comfortable in a place, it often takes a great amount of time and effort to be able to leave it.
But once we do so and move on, that is when we realize what bigger things we are capable of.
4. If your motivation for choosing a career is fame or money, it won’t take you far.
Secondary luxuries like money or fame often come as a byproduct of the effort you put in.
But if you are not going into a field because you want to, it will start becoming burden after a point.
5. When there is a will there's a way
A lot of people often face a shortage of money during their early years to pursue their careers.
And while many give up at this point, the ones who are determined to make it will find a way to work it out.
6. Once you gain fame and money, people treat you differently
People might start treating you very lovingly once you are famous and have money in your pocket and it might feel exciting.
But the real pleasure in life is having food on your plate, 3 times a day.
7. Sometimes, it is your closest people that betray you
In your journey to success, there will be people who will scam and betray you, breaking your trust.
Yet, you shouldn’t let incidents like those prevent you from trusting other people.
8. Keep your people close to you, through thick and thin
Each one of us has some people who are our confidants, best friends, and mentors. We should always keep them close to us.
These are the ones who will smile with you in your good times and cry with you during your bad ones.
9. All it takes is one right opportunity to change your destiny
Before Bigg Boss happened, MC Stan was a rising rap star
But winning the show opened up a whole new gate of opportunities for him.
This week I invited @MCStanOfficial , a rapper, and artist
We talked about India’s rapping culture, his life’s journey, successes, and failures.
