(2/20) People will say - Hey - no discrimination is good rigjht? Absolutely yes. But creating a fake story of discrimination when none existed is BAD. Just like stealing money is bad but falsely accusing someone of stealing is WORSE! That’s “caste” in US
(3/20) First know the key orgs & people behind this. Kshama Sawant’s 2nd husband Calvin Priest works for far left org Socialist alternative. Basic research on Equality labs, Sikhs for Justice & IAMC show ample trails to Hindu hating cabal
(4/20) They are working overtime to create caste distinctions in an already minority Hindu American society where none existed. Riding the woke bandwagon & inserting politically correct lingo & inserting cooked up caste data to be used as a beating stick on Hindus in general
(5/20) For a 2nd gen Hindu American there is no official caste identifier in their minds or in public records. They have no disproportionate state or social power. Caste is not restricted to Hindu & there are 3000+ pyramidical groups - how will I prove bias & prevent false cases?
(6/20) This affects every Hindu not just upper caste because this has been described as an a structural part of regressive Hinduism. Notwithstanding the fact that Muslims are also Ashrafi or Pasmanda. Sikhs are Jatt or OBC. Same with Christians. So who can file case on who now?
(7/20) In the discussions it was stressed that it’s a “Hindu” issue. So potential employer in Seattle (and it’s a tech hub) who is already wary of hiring Indians because of H-b hurdles will think thrice as both upper & lower caste can potentially get into judicial complication

(9/20) Corporations will start including caste in mandatory DEI trainings. A Hindu who had to leave India coz of discriminatory reservations, legally stood in line for 20+ years in GC queue because of national origin & never harmed a fly in his life is now an “OPRESSOR” in USA!
(10/20) Hindus got outmaneuvered. A large chunk are on restrictive H1b for decade + & can’t do much. Others mostly insular living in ghettos, socializing only with other Indians in pot lucks, monthly temple& movie. They aren’t politically or socially aware of malicious narratives
(11/20) Few Hindu orgs exist but each has own trajectory, insular politics with egoistic older first gen obsessively micromanaging trivial things. Collectively they’re unable to institutionalize under a single umbrella & give political & social PR to counter Hinduphobic orgs
(12/20) There is a certain language, methodology, process and PR/marketing style that is needed for lobbying for narratives in the US. The adversarial orgs have this but it’s lacking in Hindu orgs & hence communication often sounds disjointed & unimpactful to American ears

(16/20) Unpopular opinion - but supporting Trump was a big mistake. That lead to subliminal labeling of Hindus as racist, discriminating, regressive. For a 2.5% helpless minority the best way was bipartisan political engagement & public love for Trump was a self goal
