FB Creative testing TIP
How to maximize your chance of finding a winning creative?
Throwing spaghetti on the wall isn't a good way
Why?
1. You don't have any control
2. Even if something works, you don't know why
Instead, do these 3 things to ensure a proper testing framework

Why?
1. You don't have any control
2. Even if something works, you don't know why
Instead, do these 3 things to ensure a proper testing framework
1. Have a clear hypothesis about why the concept of your ad will work
e.g. "Split-screen" comparison will work because:
> the format is pretty catchy to the audience
> it's an easy way to highlight our product over the competition
> we can showcase multiple benefits at once
e.g. "Split-screen" comparison will work because:
> the format is pretty catchy to the audience
> it's an easy way to highlight our product over the competition
> we can showcase multiple benefits at once
Once you actually get some data, you can validate the hypothesis and ask potential questions
> did it maybe work better for MOF cause on TOF people don't actually know the product well enough, so they are not even interested in it
definitely take some learning out of every test

2. Track the soft metrics of the ad
>thumb-stop ratio
>average watch time
>hold-rate
>CTR
of course, these are not as important as your CPA/ROAS, but they give you guidance on what part of the creative you need to iterate
e.g. if your thumb-stop is bad, change the hook

3. Diving deep
Trying to understand why certain creatives worked
Is it because of the:
> script
> creator
> editing
The next step should be either
> trying to recreate that winner, or
> iterating on the winner to beat the original
It opens an endless path to more winners
