What makes Fran Garcia a highly sought-after player in modern football is his positional versatility, frightening speed, stamina and his solid defensive presence which makes him an all-in-one package type of LB with a bit of everything that makes coaches happy to have him.
Defensively, Fran Garcia is a composed and intelligent player who reads the game exceptionally well. He has the ability to anticipate and intercept passes, and his tackling is consistently solid.
His positioning is excellent, allowing him to quickly close down opposing attackers and limit their space. Moreover, he is highly adept at cutting off passing lanes, which makes it difficult for opposition attackers to make progress down his flank.
Garcia's pace and acceleration are also outstanding. He uses his speed to great effect, both in attacking and defensive situations. He can quickly recover ground to catch up with opposing attackers or make overlapping runs down the flank.
His acceleration bursts are unreal.
In addition to his pace and defensive abilities, Garcia is highly skilled with the ball at his feet. He has excellent close control and is confident dribbling past opposing players.
Furthermore, he has a superb passing range and can play a variety of passes from any distance.

Andoni Iraola primarily uses Fran Garcia as a left-back in a traditional 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 formation.
He is often given the freedom to push forward and overlap his winger, providing width and attacking impetus down the left flank.
Defensively, Fran Garcia is tasked with tracking back and providing cover for his CBs.
His pace and intelligence positioning enable him to quickly close down attackers and snuff out threats as well as being highly effective at cutting off passing lanes.
Garcia is also occasionally used in a more advanced role as a left winger or left midfielder.
This allows him to further utilize his technical skills and attacking instincts, as well as his ability to create chances for his teammates with his crossing and passing abilities.

Fran is a different Left-Back with really unique qualities, I couldn't think of any player who resembles him 100% on the pitch in terms of versatility and technical abilities but I believe the closest ones would be Tagliafico, Robertson and Malacia.

In this section I provided 3 graphs with various data and metrics to compare between these 3 players and Fran Garcia to understand more about him as a player.

Fran would be an excellent addition to Real Madrid's system
Carlo often plays with a 4-3-3 formation, with the full-backs pushed high up the pitch to provide width and support for wingers, which suits Fran Garcia's abilities perfectly.
Fran Garcia's ability with the ball is unmatched by none of our current fullbacks unfortunately, Dani & Vazquez are good ball carriers but nothing special and Mendy got pace but useless in the final third.
Fran can potentially solve all of these problems if he's given time.
As a LB, Fran would fit in perfectly in a 433, as he has speed, technical ability, and fulfills his defensive responsibilities perfectly which is something carlo absolutely loves in wingers.
A combination of Fran and JR would make Real Madrid's left-side lethal next season.
In addition to his natural position, Fran could also play as a LW or LM if Vinicius is injured (Lol he never gets injured).
His versatility would allow him to adapt to different tactical formations and systems, making him a valuable asset to any team fortunate to have him
And this sums up our analysis on Real Madrid's upcoming LB, Fran Garcia.
I hope it wasn't too long or boring to read and hopefully you guys learned a thing or two about this player who is well on his way to become an excpetional fullback in the near future.
Have a nice day!

Which player do you think should be our starting LB next season?
This thread could have been better, with more details, graphs and video analyses but it would have taken way too long since I don't have much free time on my hands.
I did the best I could with this one although you guys deserve more, hopefully our next thread will be better 🤍🙏
