There's been a lot of heated pushback on my complaint that there has been a major lack of verified war footage from Ukraine in the U.S. news.
Why do I want actual verified war footage from the Russia-Ukraine war and not unsourced Telegram posts?
No reason. No reason at all.🔻
Anyone can post anything on social media. It doesn't make it true.
I am not saying the war isn't happening. That isn't the point and people who are asserting that my demands for better documentation has anything to do with denying the war is actually going on are illiterate or dishonest or perhaps both.

If you search CNN's video footage, you find sparse reporting. They work to verify footage before posting it. That may be one explanation for the lack of actual videos showing combat between Russian and Ukrainian forces.
