Agnipath was a badly misunderstood Initative because @DefenceMinIndia & @rajnathsingh were diffident of stating the obvious.

1/2 I gave them the Math that over ten years size of Army - Largest employer among Defense Forces would come down from 1.4 million to 1 million. A right sizing that is required. That is why I had refused to sign the Joint Opposition letter opposing the Agnipath Scheme in Defence
1/3 Consultative Committee much to their chargin. Some people who have zero understanding of Defense or strategic affairs jumped onto my @IndianExpress piece supporting Agnipath. They will still say High Court is not the final word . We will again talk if there is an SC decision
