In 2020 I was working a job for $15/hour
It sucked but it put a roof over our heads and helped provide for my daughter
During Covid the workplace shut down and I was let go by my boss
I only had $1,500 in the bank and no income to provide for my family

Instead of using the $1,500 to pay for rent or buy food, I decided to put ALL of it into a course

I didn't just want to barely scrape by
I wanted to build a GOOD life for my daughter. And I was willing to take risks to make it happen

I followed it and got to work
It took me 3 months to even make money from it and I wanted to give up a few times before it finally started working out

But after paying for mentors, employees and marketing I was pretty much just breaking even
Even though I was 'successful' on paper, I still wasn't making much money

I was actually looking for a way out of the agency when I got an offer from a market leading SaaS company
They wanted me to come on as a sales rep
I hadn't had a sales job before, but knew how to sell from the time spent doing discovery calls at my agency

I started up with them and now I'm a top producing Account Executive making 6 figures a year
Around the same time I started working for them a friend also introduced me to surveys
Now I make an extra $10k a year spending only 3 hours a week answering stupid questions

This makes it even better considering when I was young I got kicked out of school, hung out with the wrong crowd and even almost went to jail
