1) Battle of Merut (1785) — 25,000 sikhs invade delhi being invited by najaf quli khan & attack a small maratha force of 2,000 at merut but bapu malhar (maratha general) marched against sikh's with 5000 cavalry & defeated them at merut 2/7
2) Battle of banur (1786) — Sikhs invaded Patiala & carried fire & sword everywhere but were repulsed at Banur by Maratha general Dhar Rao, who marched against the Sikhs to the aid of the Patiala Raja 3/7
3) Battle of Sonipat (April ,1787) —sikh contingent ravaged territory of sonipat but a body of marathas attacked them , seized some of their horses & drove them away 4/7
4) battle of doab (6 oct ,1793) — Bapu Malhar routed a Sikh force near Doab & killed 50 Sikhs, the defeated Sikhs fled to Patiala 5) battle of karnal (dec ,1793) — devi datta (scindia's general) twice routed sikh force led by gurdat singh sikh & expelled them from territory 5/7
6) battle of delhi (nov ,1793) — khanderao hari succesfully repulsed Sikhs contingent which were ravaging delhi 7) second battle of karnal (1798) — thomas (irish general under marathas) defeated & killed 1,000 sikhs who tried to rebel against marathas 6/7
