With the release of the ChatGPT API, developers can now do chat and traditional completion workflows for 90% cheaper than text-davinci-003!

Whisper, our state of the art open source speech to text model, is now available via our API. This makes it super easy and cheap to deploy speech to text in your products / services: platform.openai.com
We have gotten a ton of feedback from developers around our data usage policy and lack of platform stability. Today, we are launching a new data usage policy that opts API users out of having their data used to train OpenAI models by default: platform.openai.com
And last but certainly not least, we are committed to making our platform amazing for people taking their products and services into production. After todays launch, our engineering teams #1 priority is platform stability.
