The Vehemence of the Superior Man
“Schopenhauer points out how the force of Beethoven’s music (who wasn’t his favorite composer) is very literally the inner meaning of the force of nature.
The vehemence of a waterfall. The force of gravity. The reaching of powerful waves.
This same wanting is inside nature; or rather, the wanting that is inside you, is the same as that!
This is why nihilism can’t never result in a left-wing conclusion, or in mere lassitude
or entropy, unless that biological tendency of dissolution is already sighing a man, or a people.
But insofar as nihilism is employed to wipe away structure or morality - which is to say: the opinions of the many or the sanctity of existing authority - it can only
ever release the vehemence of the superior man’s wanting and FORCE from its shackles. It can only ever reveal the primal hierarchy of nature.
Remember, a lion wants something by WILL and not because of words or opinions. It wants something by blood.
It is the same with man, unless you are very naive.”
