Misfortune is often the rule in life, not the exception.
So if you're trading shitcoins for fun or threading on random protocols in your free time you're probably the exception, so enjoy it.
The lack of this perspective is keeping many of you unhappy.
It's in our nature to adapt to our circumstances, but this means we become comfortable and become to expect these new circumstances.
This holds true in crypto, where your goals shifted from earning some extra cash to becoming financially free, all from a shitcoin.
You'd be hard-pressed to find a more unrealistic environment financially than crypto.
Wealth gained and lost rapidly, means our expectations are about as high as they can be, which sets us up for disappointment.
The takeaway?
Understand this is happening and fight against it.
Don't be a slave to the rising tide of expectations by accepting you will never have enough.
I am content knowing my life will never be the same financially, but that doesn't mean I need 8 figures in my wallet.
Use perspective to your advantage by peering into the past.
