Why IKS in education is a key strategic lever.
Imagine 2 models of education.
One says skills - Literacy, Numeracy et al.
Another says Panchakosha (refer to @vidyakshetra curriculum) - meta learning model that makes numeracy etc possible.
+
What are the implications :-
The first order implication itself is profound - education that is aligned with natural human growth, culture, social context.
What we call '21st century skills' are an consequence of such human making and not the cause.
This is what most of the cookie cutter models miss.
+
This unlocks 2nd and 3rd order benefits that are critical to nation building and soveriegnty itself.
2nd order - IKS generates demand for indigenous skills - Yoga, Ayurveda, Jyothisya, Classical and Folk artists, Farmers etc.
A virtuous loop that is both material and social

Regional languages flourish:
Creative expression will be relatable as metaphors become local.
At 3rd order we get to comparative advantage:
The Corporate NGO influence, weaponization of humanities, social sciences becomes untenable as their vocabulary is taken away.
+
IKS is thus simultaneously a pedagogy for decolonization and a strategy for creative rejuvenation and immunity.
There is a reason why Education is directly with PMO in many western nations.
It is a strategic folly that our polity does not consider this portfolio in Top 4.
