I started reading this book on teacher education (training) for sustainable development and global citizenship (about halfway through), and I found myself screaming in my head "LEAVE US ALONE" on almost every page. Let's see a sample, and I'm leaving out A LOT.
It should strike everyone as really unacceptable that from the first words in this book it frames out the idea that education is really purposed toward achieving a United Nations agenda that half the world still thinks is a conspiracy theory.
One of the principle contributors to this book isn't just a UN rat, he's an all-out Freirean. The whole program the book advocates is openly and explicitly rooted in Freire and what I've described as his Marxification of Education.
Let me just remind you that SDG (Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2030) and Global Citizenship education are big. There's tons of stuff out there on it. All like this. Not a conspiracy theory.

The authors are very clear that they're instituting particular values as "sustainable development education" and "global citizenship education." It's a cult religion. A third of the book is dedicated to the need for a values shift throughout education from educators.
Like Harvard says, we might presume, educators will need to "become collaborators, accomplices, and co-conspirators" in their agenda, at least until the values transformation (through relentless calls for more trainings) is achieved. This is, as we'll see, Maoist brainwashing.
They anticipate resistance from "populism" that "reaffirms the validity" of the need for their bullshit ("liberal democracy" that's in no way liberal). They also expect it from "common good" (Integralist) reaction.
They then confess that actually their model is also "common good" (Integralistβ€”integrating religious values into the state explicitly for the achievement of said "common good"), although theirs is more correct by being geared toward "global citizenship.'
People seeking Integralist or protestant Integralismist solutions to our present plight might think twice about installing the same system the Progressive Integralists want to replace our system with, imagining their own values will be invincible. Js js.
The "holistic, critical, transformative" Progressive (Marxist, Liberation Theology) Integralism of Freire, Dom Helder Camara, and Pope Francis is at the center of their project. Note well that they believe they are "constructing knowledge" also. That's a big deal.
This "values" reeducation is not "mere indoctrination," so we can assume it's brainwashing: "an internal learning guidance system that will shape their future choices and decision making" toward "global citizenship" defined in terms of the UN's SDGs.
What is a "global citizen," other than a manipulative farce? What are a global citizen's rights as such? Well, global citizenship is "concerned more with global responsibilities than rights," so I'm guessing it's a slave in the Left Integralist Neo-Communist values system (cult).
Whatever it is, it apparently needs to learn to measure (and score people on to demand and control) compassion and must take a "central place in all societies" so we can have a sustainable future in an "inclusive human world."
It will also be based in "a serious, correct political analysis," according to terms laid out by the Marxist educator and Left Integralist Paulo Freire. Reminds me of an important line by Mao (second pic).
The influence of Freire's model on "global citizenship education" isn't just apparent, it's explicit and expounded upon. It will be critical global citizenship education, obviously. It's not about critical thinking. It's about Critical Theory.
Again: this is explicitly cult religious values instruction for values like inclusion, equity, and sustainability, branded as "global citizenship." UNESCO is right at the middle of it. We must leave the UN and all subsidiaries and agreements ASAP to save America.
They also know these values might be rejected if explicitly stated, so they're intentionally hidden within other feel-good but more vague and benign terms. Here, they decode that process for us explicitly.
Because it's values education, it must also shift learning out of the cognitive and into the emotional. It's brainwashing and manipulation.
They don't hide their real agenda, which is to move everything into centralized socialist control.
This part cracked me up (last one for the thread). "We can't draw any conclusions, so we draw the conclusion that we're right."
The whole thing is like this. The "studies" and "data" are just pretend. They call brainstorming sessions "data." It's so trash. It's also coming.
