How to make $100,000/year on YouTube without showing your face
All with less than 20 minutes of work a week
- Thread -
1. Pick a lucrative niche
The better the niche you select
The easier it is to make money on YouTube
Your niche must meet two criteria:
- High interest level
- Potential monetizable audience
Let me break down each criterion further…
Interest:
- The more interest on the topic, the more natural views you will get
Ex/crypto channels exploding during last bull run
Audience:
- You want your viewers to have money to: buy products, services etc.
Here are some niches you can’t go wrong with:
2. Model what’s working
Fortunately, on YouTube there is little guessing you have to do
Once you have selected a niche, model top performing:
- Titles
- Thumbnails
- Video ideas
Here’s an example of this in practice:
3. Produce and analyze
Make 20-30 videos
Analyze the following metrics:
- Watch time
- Views
Continue making similar videos of those with the highest both
This is what your audience prefers
Making more of these videos will grow your channel faster
4. Promote offer
The truth is it’s very hard to make $100k/year just with ad revenue
As such, you need to leverage another monetization method
My favorites include:
- Affiliate offers
- Digital products
- Brand deals
Here’s how each can make you over $100K a year…
1. Affiliate offers
600,000 views x $20 commission x 1% conversion = $120,000
2. Digital products
600,000 views x $50 product x 0.5% conversion = $150,000
3. Brand deals
200 videos a year x $500 per video = $100,000
Then, the more views you get, the more money you make…
5. Automate
Most videos have 5 common elements:
1. Research
2. Script
3. Voiceover
4. Video
5. Thumbnails
You can create job postings on Upwork or Fiverr and hire each out
Aim to pay between $50-100 per video and always ask for demos…
