I need to clarify several points based on my latest tweet about claiming the $ARB token:
🧵
Interacting directly with contracts has a very high risk.
If you don't know how to do it, you just claim it directly on the website. The risk of not knowing isn't worth it.
I'm NOT going to post any links in this thread:
DON'T CLICK ANY LINK IN THE POST AND COMMENTS
The reason why I posted the tweet is because I saw the time discrepancy between the time in arbitrum foundation website and the time in etherscan.
It was approx. 1.15 hour difference.
Use this tweet as a reference to show that I was not the only one who saw it.
How I checked the address:
• Go to Arbiscan
• Search $ARB token
• Double checked with Arbitrum DAO - Governance docs
• Get the same address
How I found the claim contract:
• Go to holders
• Find the Token Distributor contract
• Find Contract -> Write Contract
You still can't claim the token until we reach 16890400 block
Want to check the exact time?
• Go to Etherscan
• Paste "16890400" on the search tool to get the estimated countdown
The bad news is now the time discrepancy between on the UI and the time on Etherscan seems to be gone now.
But claiming directly on Arbiscan still gets you in front seat before those who claim on the main website when the time comes.
• For those who have no clue and asked how to claim it, don't do it; the risk you're taking isn't worth it.
• For those who said you couldn't claim, why the hell do you claim now? It isn't the right time yet. You should know the estimated time on the Arbitrum website...
