There is a night and day difference between understanding something in theory, and living it.
Most people are filled with an innate wisdom of things, but when said events actually happen, no amount of reading/studying/learning about it can fully prepare you.

For some reason, I had the same internal wisdom as a kid; I knew traveling was cool, but lacking in βrootsβ. I knew pursuing your passion was the most important thing, and succumbing to a temporal job would be suicide. I knew losing people would be tough.

You can never prepare, and life is the greatest teacher. Wisdom is only gained in the fiery furnace of experience.

This only vindicates my theory further, that life is a school created by God, and experience is our teacher.
