If you are looking for a job right now, AI can be very advantageous for you to maximize the time spent in your job search. Here's how I found two Hiring Managers looking for PMs on LinkedIn yesterday.
I taught fellows in the Samsung AI program how Natural Language Processing and Regex together aid in returning high quality results on Google Search 😮 (Like how to find a hiring manager using Boolean | Regex)
So naturally, someone asked how they could use it to find a job. A lot of social platform or Google Search users don't understand what X-ray searches or Boolean logic is, so here's a breakdown and example of how it can be used.
Normally anyone looking for a job would type in the name of the job they are looking for and that's it. We'll that may not return the best results.
I learned how sourcers and recruiters found a lot of talent fast. It was X-ray searches. 🧐
So you can use it to find them too!
It's typically called "X-ray" b/c the search queries "see through" a site's normal navigation & layout to extract specific data from the underlying source code or database.
👩🏽‍💻 Recruiters use it to find candidates they may not normally see by searching within their profiles.
💡But you can find recruiters or hiring managers looking to hire immediately AND focus on relationships more than the jobs companies are leaving on their site for months!!
Ask it "write me an X-ray search string to find [type of job] jobs on [platform(s)]"
Tweak as needed!
We're chatting about it today... @KanikaTolver is joining me with her questions and ideas, and I'm sharing my thoughts!
