Rap & The Streets.
East Coast West Coast. 1990’s
THREAD BELOW. @_ValTown_
93 Pac is enjoying his success from Juice, and released his sophomore album Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.
He relocated back to the East Coast where he was familiar. Born and raised in New York City between 1971-1986 before moving to Baltimore.
Pac in The Bronx in the ‘80’s.
During his time in New York he befriended popular street figures from the boroughs. Notably Jimmy Henchman and Haitian Jack. Both from Brooklyn’s Vanderveer Projects.
Jack on the left, Jimmy pictured in the middle in the second picture.
Haitian Jack migrated to Brooklyn from Haiti during the 1970’s. Jack used to get bullied, until he made some Jamaican friends from his neighborhood and he turned into a monster in the streets.
Jimmy Henchman is also Haitian, he wasn’t born in Haiti like Jack was; his parents migrated to the states in the 60’s. Jimmy wasn’t the flashy type, he put on this nerd persona so he wouldn’t bring much attention upon himself. Both men were very feared in New York. On the left.
Pac was having bad interactions when he roamed around and was getting tested because of his persona. He was introduced to Jack by the mutuals they shared.
Pac loved Jack’s street credibility and he admired the kind of power Jack had. Jack felt like rappers owed him their respect because they were speaking about a life he actually lived. Jack was providing Tupac with everything he wanted, Weed, Cars, Jewelry, Women.
Jack was seeing Madonna around this time too.
Jimmy was always in the mix so eventually Pac linked up with him too, and Jimmy already knew Jack cause they were from the same Projects. Jimmy is pictured on the right. Jimmy was more of an introvert; played it safe and always had eyes out.
Jack owned different barbershops across the boroughs so he was always cashing out. Jack pictured with the glasses at Madonna’s birthday party in 1994.
This is also around the time of the r*pe allegations against Tupac. Tupac, Ayanna Jackson, & Haitian Jack.
Both Jack and Pac get arrested and they hire two top notch lawyers to handle their cases. Haitian Jack was offered a six month plea deal and Pac had to be taken to trial.
Ricky Lee, Tupac, & Haitian Jack.
Pac implies that he was set up and Jack sees this, which pissed him off.
Paying lawyer fees put a hole in Pac’s pocket. Jimmy still owed him money for work he did for him in regards to artists, and Pac got impatient. He phones Jimmy and cussed him out. Jimmy got upset and decided to set him up. Pac underestimated Jimmy because of his appearance.
Pac went in Quad Studios with his good friend Stretch, a dude from Jamaica Queens named Nickels. Stretch, and Nickels were ambushed at the elevator, they both dive on the floor, Pac is resisting.
If you look close you’ll see Jimmy Henchman with the glasses next to Puff.
It was alleged that Pac shot himself on the groin, then got sprayed up afterwards. Big, Diddy, Andre Harrell, Cease, and Jimmy were all upstairs and Pac was brought to their room to wait on the ambulance. Pac kept saying how they all just stood there and didn’t do anything.
Right before the shooting Mike Tyson and Big told Pac to stay away from Jack. Haitian Jack was the only man Mike ever feared.

After realizing that no one was going to help him; when he got wheeled away he sticks up the middle finger at the camera.
Suge and Puff was cool when all of this was going on.
Allegedly Suge told Diddy to press his boss Andre Harrell into letting go of Jodeci and Mary J. Blige’s contracts. Diddy was too scared, so he took matters in his own hands. Andre Harrell pictured below to the far right.
Suge eventually beat up Andre and he was forced to sign over Jodeci and Mary J. Blige’s contracts to Death Row.
That’s why Kci and jojo was on Pac’s “How Do U Want It”, Snoop is seen in the beginning of Jodeci’s feenin’ video, and Devante Swing was seen at Snoop’s Murder trial with Suge.
Diddy makes up for his loss by signing Faith Evans and 112.
In 1995 at Jermaine Dupri’s birthday party, Suge is there with his friend Big Jake who’s Mob Piru. Diddy is there with his guy Wolf, known shooter from The Bronx. Big Jake is pictured in the middle next to Suge, Wolf is in the car with Diddy.
Jake approached Wolf and said “Why you align ya self with a sucka?” They argued, Wolf’s man shot and k*lled Jake. So Suge is pissed, he looks at Diddy and says “This is your fault”. Now Diddy and Suge are enemies.
Back to Pac, Pac got paranoid while he was in the hospital and thought that Jimmy would come back to finish the job so he leaves early, that’s when he heads to court to be sentenced for the r*pe accusation.
Pac got sentenced and sent up to Clinton Correctional to serve his bid. Jimmy and Jack had people in Clinton who pressed him while he was in there but it was many Pac fans locked up with him too so that stopped after awhile.
E Moneybags, came to visit Pac and told him it was Jimmy who set him up. E Moneybags is the same one who pressed Jay-Z on air for allowing another artist to basically take his name. Jay-Z paid to get that interview taken down.
Pac was in prison pissed at himself and just mad at life period. Spent his time figuring out who set him up, writing all their names down on a list then crossing them out.
Suge came to the Prison on behalf of Interscope and offered Pac a deal with Death Row. Pac says yes and he gets out. Pac and Suge clicked so well because they a common enemy in Puff.
Suge thought anyone not from Compton was soft. He came to New York with Snoop because Snoop had a performance, which Party Promotor Peter Shue (pictured below in blue) Chaz, (50 Cent’s old manager and bank robber), and Supreme; paid for then tried to leave (.cont)
Peter Shue told Suge if you leave I’ll k*ll you, Suge got scared so he paid and stayed.
Peter Shue & Heavy D
Puff was being protected by the Southside Crips, and had them on a payroll whenever he came to LA. He felt threatened by Suge, so he felt like paid protection was best.
Suge not letting up in ‘95.
Pac continued to separate himself from his East Coast roots and affiliates, ultimately disowning them through the music and interviews.
It was alleged that Orlando Anderson k*lled Pac in ‘96, who was a Southside Crip. Orlando was k*lled in 1998.
Death Row came about by way of Harry-O, a former drug dealer from South Central and came up during the disco scene. He funded one of Denzel Washington’s first plays on Broadway. Godfather Entertainment.
Suge talking about Godfather Entertainment he’s hilarious.
Harry-O, Lydia Harris, & Suge. 1991.
When Death Row became big, Suge and David Kenner (far right) cut Harry-O out. Suge stopped answering the phone.
When Dre left Death Row he took his masters along with him. Suge allegedly pulled up to Dre’s house with his goons, opened the door and walked in Dre’s studio then took the masters back while Dre sat and watched. SOC movie made Dre look like a tough guy.
Tupac endorsing Death Row East, although he didn’t wanna be there at all.
Big’s alleged last photo before taking that final ride in LA.
Lock in.
