to make it or not so the reason I do what I do is for myself and for them. They say everyone dies but not everyone lives. I want to live my life to the fullest everyday. After working a 9-5 for 2 years and doing college part time I quit my job and dropped out of school.
I risked it all and went all in on myself with trading. I told myself everyday that this is plan A and that there's no plan B. It's either get rich or die trying to get rich but again, I dont do it for money I do it for the freedom.
When I was 19 I had a decent job but I was young and dumb and bought a brand new car. At 21-22 I stopped caring about the materialistic things so in Feb 2022 I sold my car when the used car market was hot.
After I sold my car in Feb 2022, I booked a one way ticket to Nice France for March 2022 and wanted to dedicate my time in Europe to solely do 3 things. #1 was to study and learn ICT.
#2 was to get my body and health right because I stopped going to the gym for 2 years since covid. #3 was to explore the world as that is my passion outside of trading. I have now been to 15 different countries.
Also went to Greece for a week w/ my cousins so I am very blessed that I had the opportunity to do this and live abroad for 6 months. I went back home for the holidays to see my family in September 2022.
My 23rd birthday came around so I booked a flight to London and Copenhagen to see my friends to celebrate it.
While I was out here I traded and passed @myfundedfx phase 1 200k challenge by trading mostly fx during the London sessions.
I would trade the London session back in the states but it's a big struggle to wake up at 2-3am for LOKZ so I decided to cancel my flight back home and stay out in Europe to complete phase 2 and get funded.
Ive realized back in the states and confirmed it while I was in Europe that I have the best winrate and RR during LOKZ trading Fx after canceling my flight home and getting funded I will be staying out here for the time being so I can have a normal sleep schedule.
After leaving to Europe in March 2022 to learn ICT this month will be officially 1 year since I started. My health, body, and trading skills are at an all time high but I need to stay humble but it's nice seeing all the hard work & sleepless nights start to pay off.
For anyone struggling I hope this thread and story inspires you to put your head down for 6-12 months and grind to learn, backtest demo trade ICT concepts before you trade live or try to do challenges with prop firms. Thank you for all of your support.
