🍐 Gallbladder Flush 🍐
Today’s lesson will be split into 5 parts:
🍐 What is the Gallbladder?
πŸ§ͺ Understanding Bile
🦠 What are Gallstones?
πŸ“— Peyton’s Reasoning
πŸ«’ Peyton’s Procedure (Flush)
What is the Gallbladder?
🍐 Described as a pear-shaped organ, it is the structure responsible for bile storage & breakdown of fats
🍐 Located under the liver, it has a system of bile ducts that connect to the small intestine
🍐 Find/feel it under your right ribcage
Understanding Bile
πŸ§ͺ Bile is a yellow/green fluid that resides in the gallbladder, made from the liver
Bile Contents:
πŸ§ͺ water
πŸ§ͺ bile salts
πŸ§ͺ bilirubin
πŸ§ͺ copper
πŸ§ͺ cholesterol
Bile’s Job:
πŸ§ͺ help digestion by breaking down fat from food
πŸ§ͺ absorb fat-soluble vitamins
πŸ§ͺ eliminate excess waste products, dead blood cells, cholesterol
What Are Gallstones?
🦠 Gallstones are formations within the Gallbladder that resemble small colored stones, varying in size
🦠 Made up of bile contents (listed above)
🦠 Color of the stones represents their contents and how long they’ve been in the body
Who (Typically) Gets Gallstones?
🦠 Women more than men
🦠 People with excess weight
🦠 Those 40+ in age
🦠 High-fat dieters
Anyone can get them though!
Types of Gallstones
🦠 Cholesterol - most common and green/yellow in color. Form from excess cholesterol
🦠 Pigment - dark colored, less common, containing bilirubin. Sometimes connected to liver or blood disorders
🦠 The harder the stone, the older it is
Dangers of Excess Gallstones
🦠 One can live healthily without issue while still having Gallstones
🦠 If stones become too large or plentiful though, ducts become blocked
🦠 Gallbladder complications lead to jaundice, infection, or necessary surgical removal of the organ
Peyton’s Reasoning To Flush
πŸ“— After learning about the Gallbladder in depth in 2022 + realizing how under-represented it is in the health community, I wanted to try a flush at some point this year
πŸ“— Mind you: I’ve never had any Gall pain or other indicators of Gallstones
πŸ“— I knew I wanted to flush but I let my body tell me when. It became recently clear it was time, just through intuition
πŸ“— I studied different flushes to get an idea of what to do, but ultimately made my own protocol
Peyton’s Procedure
πŸ«’ (You’ll need atleast 1 day freed up to be home, near a toilet, allowing for flush)
πŸ«’ Majority of the procedure is prepping the body a day or 2 before, through softening (potential) stones and clearing the colon
πŸ«’ The goal of the prep is to clear the colon so any stones can come out easily without blockage
πŸ«’ Prepping may include: fasting, taking extra magnesium or laxatives, enemas
πŸ«’ After you allow a day of prep, your body should be ready to flush
πŸ«’ **Don’t do if constipated**
What You’ll Need To Flush:
β€’ Tart Cherry or Apple Juice (malic acid)
β€’ Edible loose Epsom Salts (or capsules)
β€’ Olive Oil
β€’ Grapefruit Juice
πŸ«’ Flush partakes in the hours before bed
πŸ«’ Ideally you spend the day drinking your juice in intervals as they will soften stones, and not consuming any fat
πŸ«’2 hours before bed you will take your Epsom Salt solution (1 tablespoon Epsom Salt + 1/2 teaspoon salt + 4oz water)
πŸ«’ Just before bed you’ll have your Fat Bomb (4oz olive oil + 4oz grapefruit juice)
πŸ«’ Brush teeth, then get into bed immediately and go to sleep on your back
πŸ«’ Wake up, drink another Epsom Salt mixture (same as before), and refrain from consuming anything else
πŸ«’ Within a few hours you should have a strong urge to use the bathroom (Epsom Salt is a laxative) and any stones you may have will float to the top of the toilet
πŸ«’ Expect to use the bathroom anywhere from 3-8 times during the day
Although I did not suspect I had any stones and did the flush simply out of curiosity,
I ended up having atleast 150 stones ⚠️ that come out…
Through this surprise, I encourage others to highly consider a gallbladder flush for themselves!
My entire protocol is much too detailed for this thread
If you would like to know EXACTLY what I did…
With time stamps, recipes, and pictures of the results (yep, my stones!)…
