Chasing everyone else’s dreams will pull you in a million different directions
Taking back control of your life means you need clarity on what you really want
That’s where your core values come in. What is it that you value the most?
I guess, YOURSELF!
2/ CREATE A VISION
When you feel like you have no control over you life, take a step back to reconnect with your vision
Visualization is similar to meditation
Instead of emptying the thoughts and chatter in your mind, fill it with experiences of what you want to become
3/ OVERCOME YOUR LIMITING BELIEFS
Everyone has an internal dialogue. This inner speech is linked to a wide range of personal functions
• memory
• planning
• self-motivation
• problem-solving
Beware of negative self-talk, it is what builds limiting beliefs within you
4/ TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Take full responsibility for the things you can control
Give yourself a dose of reality; am i partially responsible for this situation
This curiosity isn't meant to punish yourself, but to look for the pieces that are within your power to change

You can’t control everything. Even when you prepare and plan, some things still won’t go your way
So why waste time and energy on things you cannot change
The unknown feels really scary. Detach from things that are beyond your control

Of course, you can’t control everything. But you can control how you respond
This means being aware and knowing how to control your emotions, without allowing them to dictate your actions
This means shifting from a place of reaction to response

To loosen the grip that emotions have on you, start by understanding where they come from in the first place
Many of your emotional reactions were learned from experiences of your childhood
Heal from those events and write your story going forward

MAKE A STEP-BY-STEP PLAN OF ACTION
We often wait to get inspired before taking action. But the truth is action inspires action
In order to move forward, you've got to start from somewhere
Imagine this big goals of yours and trace it backward. Head into action NOW
9/ LIVE FOR THE NOW
Everyone has made mistakes and failures in the past, you're not unique
Take back control of your life by living in the present and acting intentionally
What you do today points to how you'll live tomorrow and into the future
10/ FOCUS LONG-TERM
Set small short-term goals that are the stepping stones that help you accomplish your long-term vision
While long-term goals are your north star, short-term goals make the work feel less daunting by breaking it up into actionable steps
