@bahutbadadanda Lol, it’s unfair because I think even LKY would find India ungovernable without some drastic changes. That said, I still think there is a lot to learn from him.
@bahutbadadanda If LKY’s authoritarianism is said to be inimitable in a country of India’s size, I would ask him to look at least a little eastward.
@bahutbadadanda Notwithstanding that it is not perfect & they have several problems coming their way, the way they have gotten their people to toe the line & not come in the way of growth is admirable.
@bahutbadadanda We are a long way from that given our mediocre democracy & numerous faultlines. But let’s hope we will get there some day.
