We are at the iPhone moment of AI.
It will transform the future of speech, creativity & biology forever.
Here's every AI announcement from Nvidia's GTC event:
1/ Nvidia AI foundations
Foundations comprise of three model-making services:
• NeMo (Language)
• Picasso (Visual)
• BioNeMo (Biology)
It allows you to build, refine and operate custom large language models (LLMs).
It's trained on your data and domain-specific tasks.
2/ Nvidia NeMo
NeMo is a toolkit for creating conversational AI models.
It has separate collections for:
• Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Text-to-Speech (TTS)
You can start with your own model or NeMo's pre-trained language models.
3/ Nvidia Picasso
Generative AI is transforming visual content.
Picasso lets you build and deploy applications for:
• Photorealistic images
• High-resolution videos
• Detailed 3D geometry
Generated assets can be imported into editing tools like Photoshop and After Effects.
4/ Nvidia BioNeMo
Drug discovery is a near $2 trillion industry.
Generative AI is transforming the drug discovery process.
You can:
• Access pre-trained models through the cloud
• Get on-demand supercomputing infrastructure
• Customize & deploy 3D protein prediction models
5/ Nvidia Omniverse
Omniverse is a platform for industrial visualisation.
It bridges the digital & physical worlds.
• Virtual bringup of a factory
• Reduce surprises or delays
You can design, operate and optimise physical products digitally before making a physical replica.
It's clear that Nvidia's supercomputer is a fundamental engine to the future of AI.
I'm excited to see how we 'manufacture intelligence' in the years to come as:
• Computing cost decreases
• Universal access increases
This will open the door to creativity for everyone.
