Why BJP constantly loses in Delhi? Answering as a Delhite after observation. (1)
Delhi is a union territory comprising of 11 districts. New Delhi is among them which is the capital of India.
Here is the Delhi constituency of 2022 MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) election. New Delhi is owned by Central government while Delhi Cantonment is owned by Indian Army.
Now let us compare AAP party leader Arvind Kejriwal with BJP president of Delhi Manoj Tiwari.
Manoj Tiwari:
1) Was an actor, singer and politician of Bhojpuri film industry.
2) Contested 2009 General election as a well samajwadi party candidate but lost to Yogi Adityanath (1)
3) He joined BJP and contested 2014 Indian general elections and achieved victory.
4) He was selected as the BJP president in 2016.
5) BJP won a massive victory at MCD in 2017. (2)
Arvind Kejriwal:
1) IIT graduated.
2) Served as an IRS commissioner and resigned from the post.
3) Worked as an activists prior to his involvement in politics.
Manoj Tiwari has a film background while Kejriwal has a political background. Whom do I prefer among them?
Answer from my perception:
I prefer neither of them.
Why not Manoj Tiwari?
1) Because he does not have any political background.
2) Lack of understanding the ground issues faced by the residents of this city.
3) Unnecessary obsession with celebrities. (1)
4) Lack of basic etiquettes while talking to a woman. He scolded a teacher in front of the public when she politely asked her to sing a song, without being mature enough to understand that she was her supporter.

And grace a look at the maturity of the teacher who got defamed in public.

Why not Arvind Kejriwal?
Here are the reasons why:
1) Freebies politics
2) Liquor Scam
3) Cooperation with anti-nationals (He got funding from khalistanis during Punjab elections)
4) Asking evidence for surgical strike. (1)
5) Blaming Modi for minor issues in Delhi which can be solved by him but he is not willing to.
6) Stealing credits of the central government
7) Spending huge sums of money for advertisement and election manifestos.
8) Poor and ill-equipped mohalla clinics used for... (2)
advertisement purposes.
9) Government schools of Delhi lacks good infrastructure and poor quality of education.
Delhites prefer their kids to study in Kendriya Vidyalaya or any other private schools under CBSE or ICSE.
Demographic structure of Delhi (2023):
Religion:
Hindu: 81.68% 🕉
Muslim: 12.86% ☪️
Sikh: 3.40%
Jain: 0.99%
Majority of sikhs and muslims will definitely vote for AAP party.
Among hindus, it depends upon the migrants from nearby States like Rajasthan, Bihar, UP, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttrakhand. (1)
Kejriwal is losing its support from the residents of Delhi, most precisely the migrants. Despite multiple loses. BJP has a solid base in Delhi. In 2015 elections, BJP got 3 seats and 32% votes. In 2020 elections, BJP got 7 seats and 39% votes while AAP got 42%, quite close (2)
Before 2025, if BJP puts a strong candidate to contest elections, probably it can win. I don't think winning elections under Manoj Tiwari due to his failed leadership is possible. Dr. Harshavardhan, Kiran Bedi, Adesh Gupta or Gautam Gambhir would be better from my opinion. (3)
Their (BJP) chances of of getting votes would increase by 9%. That would mean BJP getting 47% votes which is possible condudering that in 2020 it got an increase of 6% points over 2015. This will mean AAP coming down from 53% to 46% as compared to BJP’s 47%.
So in order to win elections in Delhi in 2025, it would be better if @BJP4Delhi gets reformed now.
Reasons why BJP lost 2020 Delhi elections:
1) Weak leadership: As I mentioned in my previous points, BJP requires a strong candidate.
2) State elections have their own perimeter. One party cannot simply win in the name of Modi and Amit Shah. People vote for BJP.... (1)
at the centre and not on state elections in the name of Modi and Shah.
3) Fighting on wrong issues.
4) Weak economic policy.
5) Neglecting migrant voter base: For middle class and poor migrants, less house tax matters a lot for them. This is how Kejriwal got votes from them.
6) Late campaign or election manifestos: BJP began its campaign very late until Amit Shah started the campaign for 2020 MCD elections. While AAP organised large manifestos in different districts of Delhi.
Delhi voters are not to be blamed here as they still provided 7 seats to BJP in Lok Sabha. Nationalism doesn't work in state elections.
My suggestion:
The local MLAs must try to solve the ground issues of the public as AAP is not willing to. Maybe this is how BJP can get popular support.
One correction:
Kejriwal didn't worked as an IRS commissioner. I mentioned that point before it was proved that he lied. Kindly ignore that point.
