Enumabia River in Orokam community Benue State,Nigeria Is believed not to be a normal river as it does the opposite of what other rivers do. Itβs dry during the raining season and full during dry season
Members of the community also say that to fetch water from the river, you have to dance π first before fetching else when the individual gets home his or her leg will be swollen.
Members of the community also worship the river by giving sacrifices to it. According to them a crocodile π comes out to receive the sacrifice and most people confirm that they have witnessed it
The river water is very clean and good for drinking and has made sure that the people of the community never suffer from water during the dry season.
