Remember “The Statue Of Equality” which PM Modi Inagurated?
The name is Sri.Bhagawad Ramanuja Acharya, the Vaishnava Guru.
‘To alleviate the misery of others, I don’t mind facing the throes of Hell.’
‘All are eligible to enter a temple. The Creator showed no partiality, nor should we.’ ‘All are equally qualified to chant the name of God.’ ‘All are equal in the eyes of God.’ - Sri Ramanujacharya.
Who is Ramanuja Acharya, why he is not famous?
He was a Brahman who preached
and practiced equality..
If he was made famous, from where Soriyarvadis and Communists and Brahmin Bashers find their fodder.
Born in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu, in 1017 CE, dedicated His entire life for reformism and left no stone unturned in dispelling darkness from the minds
and lives of people. His ultimate objective was to inculcate vedic way of life into society. He was a saint who propagated universal brotherhood. He embraced the untouchables and treated them on par with the elite. Seeing His compassion towards the oppressed, his delighted guru
honoured him with the coveted title “ Em-perum- anar” you are ahead of us. Sri Ramanuja named subjugated classes Thirukkulathar-Born Divine.
Bhagawad Sri Ramanuja was a Spiritual Revolutionary
He Brought the treasure of Vedic literature to the doorsteps of the common man.
Advocated the philosophy of Visistadvaitha.
Became the preceptor of the Bhakthi movement and the source for all other Bhakthi Schools of thought.
Was an inspiration for mystic poets like Kabir, Meerabai, Annamacharya, Dasa-Shreshta’s of Karnataka, Thyagaraja and many others.
Initiated the concept that Nature and her resources like Water, Air, Soil, Trees etc., are sacred and should be protected.
In three major commentaries, he laid an intellectual basis for the practice of Bhakti (devotional worship): The Vedartha-Sangraha (on the Vedas),
The Shri-Bhashya on The Bhagavadgita Bhashya, and the Brahma-Sutras (on the Bhagavadgita).
Bhagawad Ramanuja's final words to his disciples were as follows:
"Get rid of your ego." God's believers are to be adored. Serve the cause of God's offspring, mankind.
Nobody is infallible; no one should be humiliated. The purity of thought and behavior is of paramount significance."
His seventy-four disciples disseminated his teachings across the land, and Maths was erected in various locations.
The conclusion was in sight.
Ramanuja sat down with his head on Govinda's lap and his feet on Andhrapoorna's. On the tenth day of the month of Magha, in the year 1059(1137 CE) of the Shalivahana period, Bhagawad Ramanuja attained his Acharyan Thiruvadi (the lotus foot of his Acharya) at Srirangam

I didn't and never intended to compare Lunatic Killer Xavier with Shrestha Guru Sri Ramanuja.
It's a pity that his dead body is glorified, whereas Hindus who visits Srirangam themselves doesn't know about Sri Ramanuja Samadhi.
