And everything got locked down.
What was I doing?
I was watching 3 movies a day. Every day.

Just so that I can tell myself I did at least something productive and not feel like a total shitbag.
Deep down I knew I'm squandering my time my energy and my potential.
But I didn't know what else to do.

"Why don't you start writing something?"
I was like "I never wrote anything before."
"But you are reading so many books. So write what you learn."
And that single conversation changed everything.

I took action the very next morning and started jamming down words on a Google doc.
Mainly because it hurt my self-esteem to hear that from my mom.
And I'm glad it did.
I got to work.
And that's when the idea of INFINITIANS was conceived.

I registered the domain. Set up the website.
And we were live in just a week or so.
It was such a high adrenaline phase that there were no distractions whatsoever.
I'd write in the mornings.
And take care of the technical stuff in the evenings.

The problem? There was no traffic.
So I learned SEO. Link building.

Bookmarking websites.
Article submission websites.
Social media.
But still it didn't garner any interest.
So I tried optimizing my website and learned On page and off-page SEO.
Again. No massive change.

Just posting my links.

So I started following big accounts and would leave a comment as soon as they dropped a tweet.
That strategy was a Hero.
Following unfollowing people got me to 500 followers in a year(2020-2021).
Commenting on big accounts got me to 2000

In 2-3 months.
@naval & @ProfFeynman gave the best ROI where sometimes a single comment would get me up to 100-200 followers at once.
That's when I came across @Mindset_Machine and we both would literally race to see who drops the comment first.
Eventually this gravy train...

So then I switched to threads.
2022 was all about threads engagement groups & rt fr rt.
Did everything under the sun and grew my account to 80k.
Also finally had some money coming in to show the family that I know what I'm doing.

The more likes I got the more viral my threads went and the more affiliate sales I cashed in.
Until this also came to an end.

Engagement went down.
Sales went to 0.
Followers' growth went down.
Other accounts surpassed me.
People stopped exchanging tweets when they got too big. (only 2 accounts stuck by me @Mindset_Machine & @LegacyBuilder__ for which I'm truly grateful)

2 yrs of effort and energy down the drain.
