A “Renaissance Man” is someone with expertise and knowledge across multiple domains.
Becoming a true polymath has never been more accessible.
Here are 10 traits to master the modern world:
1) Free Thinking
An independent thinker speaks his mind freely and confidently.
He forms his own opinions.
He abandons dogmatic ideologies.
He learns from people across both aisles.
By doing so, he adopts a well-rounded worldview.
2) Well-read
With the internet, The entire Library of Alexandria is accessible at our fingertips.
Access to information is wildly abundant.
The desire to learn is scarce.
Becoming an obsessive learner is one of the most important traits to develop in the modern world.
3) Technologically Savvy
To stay ahead of the curve, you must stay on top of changing technologies:
• AI
• Crypto
• Blockchain
• Computers
• Social media
Being comfortable with technology gives you an increasingly large advantage over anyone who isn’t.
4) Fit
You cannot reach your potential if you neglect your physical health.
• Run
• Eat clean
• Lift weights
• Play sports
• Learn to fight
Socrates said it best:
"It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable"
5) Self-Disciplined
Cheap dopamine is abundant in the modern world:
• Porn
• Alcohol
• Video games
• Processed food
• Cheap entertainment
The only way to transcend it?
Self-discipline and accountability.
6) Artistic
It’s common to dismiss being artistic as “gay” or “weird.”
I used to think the same.
But art is the truest expression of our individuality.
Without it, life is utterly dull and boring.
Only through art can we tap into our creative potential.
7) Charismatic
Social skills aren’t a fixed trait.
They can be developed through practice.
Read “How to Win Friends and Influence People.”
Befriend liberals, conservatives, hippies, and businessmen.
Develop social skills by becoming curious about everyone you talk to.
8) Cultured
The best way to broaden your worldview:
• Travel
• Leave your hometown
• Step outside your bubble
• Immerse yourself in a foreign environment
Doing so will accelerate your personal growth and give you endless stories to tell about your adventures.
9) Entrepreneurial
A renaissance man makes a living through his broad-ranging skillset.
It is only through entrepreneurship that he gains complete control over his time and can self-actualize.
It's impossible to reach your human potential working a 9-5.
10) Humble
The hardest part about self-improvement is not looking down upon others.
Once one improves himself, it’s easy to judge others for not doing the same.
But through psychedelics, introspection, or meditation, the Renaissance man actively works to lose his ego.

Also, the use of "man" throughout is all-encompassing.
All of these apply to men and women.
What did I miss?
I'm curious to hear what other traits we should strive for.
