ChatGPT can you help turn 10x more interviews into job offers.
But only if you know how to use it well.
Use these 10 ChatGPT tricks to dominate your interviews:
1. Ask it to generate your practice questions
Practice is the most important thing to do in your prep.
If you use the right questions, your prep is 2x more effective.
So ask ChatGPT:
"What are the top 10 questions I am likely to hear in an interview for [Role] at [Company]?"
2. Do your research
The best candidates espouse the company values and have lots of knowledge about the company.
ChatGPT can cut that time in half.
Ask it:
"What are the company values at [Company] that I should espouse in my interview?"
3. Inspire your interview responses
ChatGPT can help inspire your first draft response - personalized to you.
Direct ChatGPT to your LinkedIn first, then ask the question.
Like this:
"Read my Linkedin [URL]. Then craft a compelling response for the question: [Question]."
4. Have it grade your responses
Then you can write your own response that's better than it's draft for you, and have it give feedback.
Ask ChatGPT:
"If you were [Interviewer Role], what would you think of my response below to the question [Question]? [Response]"
5. Practice your technical interviews
For technical interviews, it can literally grade your code. So you just ask it to help you prepare.
Say this:
"Help me prepare for a technical interview on [Topic] by being my coach. Ask me a practical question, and await my response."
6. Have it be your case partner
Cases are often the hardest thing to practice. ChatGPT can be your partner.
Ask it:
"Let's simulate a [Case type] case interview. Please be the interviewer and ask me a question, and we'll go through several steps together"
7. Research your interviewer
Knowing your audience always helps. You can avoid saying things they disagree with.
Just ask ChatGPT:
"What has [Interviewer] said about [Function]? Or what can you infer about their points of view from their online presence?"
8. Brainstorm great questions
All interviewers end with Q&A. Make the best use of the time.
Ask it:
"What are the most impressive questions I could ask [Interviewer Role] at the end of an interview for [Role] position?"
9. Have it be your coach
When you're not sure what to do next, it can help direct you to the next best high impact things.
Ask it to:
"What should do I next to prepare for the interview?"
10. Write thank you notes
68% of hiring managers value thank you notes.
So, after the interview - go back to ChatGPT.
Ask it:
"Can you help me craft a compelling thank you to [Interviewer]. Mention [Thing you talked about]."

Shoutout to @austinbelcak for the thread inspiration
Bonus: Understand skeptical areas
One of the most powerful things to do is to proactively address your weak areas.
But they're hard to know.
Just ask ChatGPT:
"Read my LinkedIn (Link) and the job description (Link), what are the weakest elements of my candidacy?"
Power tips:
1. Use Bing
It's free, and they just opened it up to everyone yesterday. It can search the web in real-time to answer all these questions.
2. Use 1 Chat
This will allow ChatGPT to build context and use all the conversation above to make its responses better.
Secret: You shouldn’t just answer interview questions. You should actively sell yourself.
