Weak men are guided by cheap pleasure and instant gratification.
This is a shortcut to failure.
Let's put a stop to it. Here are the 8 steps I suggest you take right now:
1. Confront yourself.
Weakness originates from time and attention spent on self-defeating behavior.
Ask yourself:
β—¦ In what ways am I weak?
β—¦ What are the triggers?
β—¦ What are the immediate rewards?
β—¦ What are the long-term consequences?
2. Replace bad habits with good habits.
You can't just quit a bad habit. You have to replace it with a good habit.
If you quit social media, what good habit are you going to replace it with?
3. Create a positive support group.
You are the sum of the five people you spend most time with.
Find people who:
β—¦ Hold you accountable
β—¦ Encourage you
β—¦ Are not threatened by your success
4. Take care of yourself.
Sleep at least 7 hours, eat a healthy diet, exercise regularly, and practice mindfulness/meditation.
A healthy body leads to a healthy mind, and a healthy mind leads to a strong will.
5. Find your purpose.
Weak men are purposeless. They fall into distractions because they have nothing better to do.
Find your why and the how will take care of itself.
6. Learn to delay gratification.
The universe rewards delayed gratification. Weak men can't resist a quick win.
Train yourself with small challenges:
β—¦ Don't look at your phone for the first hour of the day
β—¦ Don't eat junk food for 24 hours
β—¦ Don't masturbate for a week
7. Face your fears.
If you avoid your fears, you'll never grow.
Identify the worst-case scenario and decide if you can handle it.
The more you face your fears, the more you will develop mental toughness.
8. Develop discipline.
Weakness is a lack of discipline. You are going to need discipline to replace bad habits, take care of yourself, find your purpose, delay gratification, and face your fears.
Start small and work your way up.
Follow these 8 steps and be a better man.
