I’ve tested about 12-15 Chrome AI extensions.
They all suck.
I’ve only found one that works, but everything else is simply a thin wrap around GPT-x with very little value.
These posts promoting these extensions usually have two purposes:
1. Gain a lot of followers for the influencer. (Lists do very well on Twitter.)
2. They are paid by the company that owns the first tool in the list.
I’ve gotten several requests from companies to create posts like this: mention a bunch of tools, but make sure theirs is #1.
One company even sent me examples from other influencers that accepted the deal and duped their followers.
I have no idea about the intentions behind this particular post, but know the forces at play here.
Most Chrome AI Extensions right now are as valuable as the shitcoins and NFT projects they told you about 18 months ago.

I want to be extremely clear:
I have no reason to believe @AngryTomtweets is getting paid here or doing anything ilegal. Maybe he tested these extensions, loved them, and it’s now letting you know about them.
My point has nothing to do with him, but with the practice of writing this type of content with no due diligence or disclosures.

I had a private conversation with @AngryTomtweets and he assured me he wasn’t paid and he tested every tool he mentioned in his list.
