My Entry Model/Techniques🥷
In this thread I will be discussing
-What I look for before entering a trade
-My Trade Entry Model's
-Annotated Chart Example's
-Real Trade Example's
Let's get into it!
Before I start
I would recommend you blend these with your own analysis and back-test these model’s yourself,
Ultimately, I’m just showing you what works from me. So put your own spin on things, find what works best for your style, eat the meat then spit out the bones per se.
What I look for before entering a trade
Before I enter a trade 2 criteria must always be met before I even scout for entry’s which is
1. A clear draw on liquidity / a target
2. A sweep of liquidity / a run on stops
Let’s say I was bullish and wanted to take a long on EUR/USD and an entry model presents itself with a clear target above,
But sell side liquidity was not taken out, I will under no circumstances enter the trade, as the saying goes, “No Raid, No Trade”.
Here's an example
So again, these 2 criteria must be met for me to enter a trade
The same applies to short entry’s, same principles just the other way around
Now that we have that out of the way I will show you the 2 entry models that I use 9 times out of 10
Breaker Entry
Entry at the breaker is just entry at retest of a candle that broke structure, and it is probably my most used entry. Again, with all my trades a clear draw and liquidity sweep must be present for me to enter.
Here is an annotated example and a real trade example
Unicorn Entry
A Unicorn entry is basically just a FVG inside of a breaker. This is probably my favourite entry type since displacement occurs for a unicorn entry to be present, which is a good sign price will move in your favour.
Here is a short example
In terms of stop loss and take profit targets.
I put my Stop Loss below the high/low that took liquidity
My Take Profit is the closest swing high/low (Closest Draw On Liquidity)
And that's it!
I hope you all took some value from this short thread
As always, any criticism or feedback is always welcome.
Until next time lads!
