HELEN is a Jordanian based LGBTQ advocacy group founded by 30 "homosexuals" out of the 350 million Arabs. While it alleges that it is anti-imperialist, it is funded by a New York based NGO "Astrea Lesbian Foundation for Justice," which itself is funded by Ford Foundation.
