Interesting that INSCOM opened an investigation into Michael Aquino when he “urgently pressed for an upgrade of his clearance to top secret” in order to attend a 1979 conference in DC. Aquino got his TS clearance & apparently first had access to TS material at that conference
Could just have been a background check triggered by his TS clearance request but the document is from 1983, four years after the DC conference, so INSCOM had an ongoing investigation into him. Might be standard for TS clearance though, I dunno
