Let’s start with Chris Rock’s famous quote:
“Only women, children & dogs are loved unconditionally.
A man is only loved under the condition that he provides something.”
(With the exception of his mother)

Women are loved unconditionally because they’re born with value.
They can create life out of nothing.
Men are loved only under certain conditions.
They’re born with no value.
They can create life out of nothing.
Men are loved only under certain conditions.
They’re born with no value.
One woman can give birth every 9 months.
But one man can impregnate 100s of women in a short period.
If most of the men die, a few can repopulate society quickly.
If most of the women die, it’ll take significantly longer to repopulate.
This gives women intrinsic value.

I’m not saying men are useless.
Far from.
I’m saying men have to BECOME useful.
The most useful people in human history are men.
They weren’t born with it.
They earned it.

This is why women struggle with self-love.
They didn’t earn their value. They were born with it.
It’s challenging to love yourself when you didn’t earn it.
Women learn true self-love when building a life with their husband.

Men on the other hand, are not wired to love themselves.
They’re wired to respect themselves.
Here’s why 👇

Love isn’t a well-defined word.
It doesn’t have an exact definition.
We often confuse love with respect.

We often confuse love with respect.
Women love their children unconditionally & their husband conditionally.
Men love their family unconditionally & themselves conditionally.
If you can only love yourself under a certain set of conditions, that isn’t called self-love.
That’s called self-respect.

That’s called self-respect.
Telling men to love themselves is like saying…
“I love myself. I’m willing to sacrifice myself for myself.”
Doesn’t make any sense. Because sacrifice involves putting someone ahead of you.
I’m not saying men should hate themselves, but they need to earn their own respect.

Unfortunately, men are fed false information because they’re being raised by women.
Several men are raised by single mothers.
Then they’re sent to school where most of their teachers are women.
And if they consider therapy when they’re older, most therapists are women.

And if they consider therapy when they’re older, most therapists are women.
Most men are getting feedback exclusively from women.
And most women tell men to love themselves.
Instead of building themselves into someone they can respect.
This is why women need self-love & men need self-respect.
